Quality Engineer

Reference: 22 – 0047

Ref no. 615/NFR.

A professional Quality Engineer/Quality Control Inspector is required, who is ideally experienced in working on a nuclear site, being suitably qualified and experienced in the Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) fields. Internal Auditor experience and surveillance of sub-contractors essential, together with creation and management of quality plans and in support of ongoing renewal projects at their Power Station.

Key Responsibilities

Promote a good Quality behaviour that delivers positive commitment to optimum Quality and engages all employees in continuous improvement in Quality.

Monitor and report on operational Quality performance and make recommendations for improvement.

Monitor to ensure that effective action is taken.

Carry out Quality audits and surveillances against planned schedule.

Report on findings.

Monitor and close out actions.

Promptly alert line and functional management to significant issues.

Review and comment on sub-contractor’s quality arrangements.

Inspect and witness materials and equipment as necessary to fulfill the project.
