An ERS Client is seeking a Quality Manager to act as part of the Architect Engineering Organisation, develop and implement quality plan and management system for UK EPR.

Key Responsibilities

 

As a member of the Architect Engineering project team, you will support the Head of Quality in developing and implementing the quality management system for the UK EPR programme. You will specifically be responsible for ensuring that the quality management system is appropriate to, and compliant with UK requirements.

The Quality Manager will support the Head of Quality in:

Provide leadership and excellent personal example.

Develop and maintain an effective and efficient Quality Management System for the project consistent with the policies and requirements of CNEN and DIN, encompassing the UK EPR programme.

Ensure that the management system is compliant with relevant international standards e.g. ISO9000, ISO14001, ISO18001 and IAEA GS-R-3.

Develop and ensure the implementation of the project quality management programme.

Provide assurance to the project that the project quality management programme is being implemented and the quality improvement targets are being addressed. As a part of this, maintain and develop a set of key performance indicators to direct and inform the overall quality programme.

In collaboration with CNEN, manage the integrated audit schedule and report to the project Leadership Team on quality performance and, where necessary, make recommendations for improvement. Monitor any corrective action through to closure.

Develop and maintain a system for recording and tracking to close-out of project actions. This to include any specific requirements for safety related actions.

Educate, inform and provide advice at all levels on the project on quality management and performance improvement. Ensure the identification of training needs, and monitor the delivery.

Bring to the project best practice in quality management and performance improvement. Engage with people at all levels on the project, consult on and deliver innovative programmes for continuous improvement in performance.

Develop, in conjunction with the LT, a set of Key Performance Indicators for the programme.

Measure, record and publicise performance against the KPIs. Initiating corrective actions in the event of unsatisfactory performance. (KPI’s are to include customer satisfaction measures).

Ensure that the quality management requirements are embedded in supply chain and to work with the supply chain to ensure they are fully engaged in, and supporting, the quality management programme.

Must be conversant in French and English, with good concise written French and English.
