Engineering Manager

An ERS Client is actively seeking an Engineering Manager.  The successful candidate will undertake engineering design, installation, commissioning and maintenance requirements of a Regulated Site. Extensive relevant multi-disciplined design, construction and management experience is required.

Contract rates negotiable depending on skills and experience.

Key Responsibilities

 

The successful candidate should ensure that they understand and apply their responsibilities with regard to the Company’s Environment, Health, Safety, Security and Quality Standards.

Assist Graduate and Staff development.

Contact with relevant professional institutions, academia and industry.

Introduce best practice into Engineering design delivery.

Assist Continuous Improvement of safety and performance.

Team Management – provide leadership and motivation.

Maintain effective working relationships with other authorities/organisations.

Support development of Engineering policy and strategy.

Managing multi-discipline engineering resources.

Ensure all design changes are configured and designers risk assessments reviewed.

Monitor and report Quality of engineering across all disciplines and ensure compliance with the Project Book and Project Process.

Ensure integrated safety in engineering designs.

Ensure the use of all necessary project standards and statutory standards.

Ensure timely documentation for all necessary approvals (including any required from external authorities).

Ensure adequate Resource Provision within the project.

Ensure compliance with Company SQESH requirements.
