Project Manager

Ref no. 608/HOS.

The Project Manager is responsible and accountable for all aspects of the project, and, in particular, is responsible for the co-ordination of the functional activities within the project organisation to ensure specified Cient requirements are achieved and to provide leadership for the project. The successful candidate will also provide a focal point for the Project within the Company and for the Client.







Negotiable depending on skills and experience (this is open to those wishing to contract on an ongoing basis).

Key Responsibilities


Agreeing with the Client the levels of trade off for the project in terms of quality, time and cost.

Ensuring project forecast reports and plans are produced.

Ensuring a specification of customer requirements is produced.

Where appropriate supporting the development of estimates and proposals.

Receiving funding (from the Client) and controlling commitments and expenditure within authorised levels.

Ensuring the team maintain secure, traceable records until archiving.

Working with the client to define, control and implement, where appropriate:

The procurement strategy
Cost estimating and control arrangements
Planning and progress monitoring plans
Site works contract strategy
Testing and commissioning strategy

Audit and review of project procedures.

Reviewing project performance.

Developing the Project Management Plan for the project.

Ensuring that the impact of risks is adequately addressed in the Project Risk Register.

Ensure that potential variations are effectively recorded and managed appropriately.

Ensuring project control arrangements are established.
