Operations Manager

An ERS Client is seeking an Operations Manager for safe operation and management of the office delivery of P&L, staff development and business development.

Gloucester

Salary

Negotiable depending on skills and experience.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for H&S and management of regional office.

To grow the business in the South West Region over the next 2 years and reporting to the Business Unit Director, the Operations Managers will be accountable for the P&L associated with a turnover in excess of £4M and be responsible for up to 50 staff.

Key result areas will be include:

Ensuring that financial and non-financial targets are met.

Maintaining and developing the relationships with the Client.

Pro-actively marketing the services of the Company and winning work.

Ensuring projects are managed to meet or exceed profit targets and to meet Client expectations.

Recruitment of staff.

Ensuring staff receive appropriate training and development to ensure business needs are met and that individuals meet their personal aspirations wherever possible.

Developing excellent team working relationships with the existing managers.

Candidates for this post need a broad based technical background preferably in the nuclear industry or regulated industry, well developed commercial and business development skills along with experience in managing teams of people.
