Materials Specialist

ERS has a Client seeking Materials Specialists to undertake research and development, plant assessment, and safety case support work related to component integrity. They are looking for people who can apply their skills and knowledge in the areas of irradiation, ageing and corrosion degradation effects in nuclear materials such as zirconium and steel.

Warrington

Salary

£24k to £45k

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidates will work in a team providing consultancy to improve the cost, availability and safety of a range of nuclear related plant, but will be expected to contribute to other research and commercial projects.

Undertaking specialised research and plant support tasks.

Clear and concise reporting of task outcomes.

Liaison with key stakeholders, both internal and external.

Presenting results at meetings with the customer.

Managing tasks to ensure delivery to time and quality.
