M&E Services Manager

ERS have a vacancy for a M&E Services Manager with a Client based near Aldermaston, Berkshire. The project is to build a major research facility. This is highly complex incorporating a number of sub-projects ranging from R&D aspects, through manufacture and assembly of substantial, novel technology items through major facility design, build and commission.




£45k to £50k permanent (will consider 12 months contract £35 to £45 pounds per hour).

Key Accountabilities

Responsible for overseeing the Implementation of all services installations, testing and commissioning installed by the chosen Mechanical and Electrical Contractor. Liaison with the Design Team throughout the Design and Installation Phases.

Input to the Procurement Process for providing Scope and Definition.

Contribute to Value Engineering Exercises as required.

Contribute to Risk Reviews as required.

Contribute to the QA Management as required.

Review Sub Contractors QA Plans.

Visit, inspection and Audit of off-site Prefabrication items of project service items.

Manage and review Method Statements.

Review submissions for Health and Safety File.

Review Technical Queries.

Chair and minute Sub Contractor progress meetings.

Submit written reports of M&E Progress for inclusion within overall project report.
