The Tenders Manager will be the Bid Champion, providing dynamic leadership of the Company’s tendering operations to ensure the economic preparation and submission of innovative, competitive and successful tenders.
Excellent salary package plus benefits dependent upon qualifications and experience.
Manage the process of making sound bid/no bid decisions.
Ensure the consistent compilation of winning bid strategies.
Take responsibility for the output of innovative competitive tenders whilst maintaining success rates.
Manage pre and post tender negotiations and presentations.
Liaise with Directors and Company Managers to secure consistent, SQEP (Suitably Qualified and Experienced Person or Party) tender resource.
Maintain adherence to the tendering procedure, CP0401, and manage the process of gaining appropriate approvals for submission.
Line manage a team of permanent and seconded Bid Managers.
Compile and control the departmental budgets.
