The Contracts Managers will be a key member of an integrated project team, responsible for working with the clients purchasing department to develop and implement a programme wide supply chain and procurement strategy

Upto £70,000 plus benefits package

The Contracts Manager will be a key member of an integrated project team, responsible for working with the clients purchasing department to develop and implement a programme wide supply chain and procurement strategy which will drive the supply chain to an “A” class performance standard.

Key Responsibilities

1. Build the team(s) to execute UK-based supply chain activities

2. Lead and drive programme Supply Chain Management (SCM) strategy development and implementation.

3. Work with strategic partners and stakeholders to ensure there is continuity of supply and service at all times.

4. Design and implement process and structural improvements, ensuring key performance indicators to track achievement

5. Develop the necessary internal client relationships within the programme

6. Manage the relationships with our vendor partners to ensure on time delivery of agreed service levels.

7. Be responsible and accountable for vendor partner competencies, capabilities, as well as regular performance reviews.

8. Leadership and management of supply chain professionals on practices, issues, principles, processes and procedures across multiple supply chain disciplines.

9. Define and develop standards for supply chain related deliverables, templates and tools for use by internal and external parties.

Essential Qualifications

Degree (or equivalent) in business or related area with an emphasis towards Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics. Broad supply chain planning and operations understanding

Experience Required

A Minimum of 8+ years of progressively responsible experience in a supply chain role within a complex fast paced, high tech project environment. Proven track record in managing complex strategic vendor and/or business partner relationships. Excellent communication and negotiation skills combined with very strong business acumen. Highly developed managerial skills with strong problem solving and decisive, analytical competencies.

Security Clearance Required

BC

Must be conversant in French and English, with good concise written French and English.
