Nuclear Safety Engineer
ERS have a Clients who is actively seeking to appoint a Nuclear Safety Engineer. This post will provide an opportunity to work in a team to enhance nuclear safety.The work of the NSG encompasses a wide range of scientific and engineering disciplines and provides an opportunity to broaden the skills and knowledge of the successful applicant.

The NSG is responsible for the oversight of nuclear safety issues at the site. The specific responsibilities of NSG are essentially two-fold.
Firstly they encompass the maintenance and development of the Station’s safety case and demonstration of compliance with the case. This includes providing the licensing interface with the NII.
Secondly the Group has responsibility for various aspects of plant performance including the specification of reactor refuelling, monitoring safety margins and providing reactor physics advice.
