Senior Instrument & Control Engineer (I&CE), Birchwood, Warrington, UK

ERS have a Client actively seeking to appoint a Senior Instrument and Control Engineer at Birchwood, to be responsible for Instrument and Control design aspects of small and large projects for nuclear build, refurbishment and / or decommisioning projects; concept, scheme and detail design phases.

According to experience

job responsibilities

Organisation /production of quality deliverables within project programme and budget.

Production / checking of design basis documents, input to P&ID’s, preparation of SIDD’s.

Knowledge of safety systems, HAZOP and engineering substantiation.

Panel / motor sizing, layouts and supporting calculations.

Essential Qualifications at Degree or HNC minimum

Desirable Qualifications at Chartered Engineer status, IEE member.

Minimum 2 years design experience, preferably in the nuclear industry.

Knowledge of mechanical handling control or process instrumentation hard-wired safety.
