Our client is seeking a Rotating Equipment Supervisor based in Saudi Arabia.

Location Al-Jubail, Saudi Arabia

Salary Competitive salary depending on qualifications and experience

Job Responsibilities

To supervise construction activities related to all Rotating Equipment works performed by the subcontractor or direct hire labor force.

Responsible for the site construction activities for specific discipline and area in respect of Safety, Quality, Schedule and Cost.

Monitors subcontractor or controls direct hire labor force for discipline.

Fully familiar with the drawings and specifications applicable to the project.

Ensures that the subcontractor works to the approved construction method statements and schedules.

Ensures that construction procedures are adhered to and is fully familiar with the quality control ones applicable to this discipline.

Ensure subcontractor is performing to Schedule Requirements and has sufficient qualified supervision, skilled labor and plant.

Instructs subcontractors on day to day matters.

Signing and authorizing day work sheets from subcontractors.

Reports to the Deputy Construction Manager.

    GulfGuard is the one of 27 float glass plants of Guardian corporation of U.S.A. It processes 650 tons of glass daily in its float glass line and pattern line.

    Duration:
    From October 28, 2000 to date

    Responsibilities:
    *Batch House Operator, I am responsible for receiving, mixing and discharging batches to cater the demand of furnace having daily output of 650 tons. In addition to that, batch house operator must be keen on operating the plant in auto mode as well as manual & semi auto mode in any abnormality.

    *Furnace Operator, I am responsible for maintaining all the parameters in order to undisturbed melting process. Other than the main responsibility, carrying out continuous heat audits and getting corrective actions is also a part of routing activities.

    *Tweel Operator, I have to control all machine speeds, temperatures and lehr speed to obtain the specific thickness of the glass ribbon with millimeter decimals precision.

    *Lehr Operator, my responsibilities are controlling and monitoring lehr temperatures for obtaining defined physical properties in the glass.

    *Quality Control Operator, I am responsible to make sure the all measurable parameters associated with the running quality of the glass.

    Team Leader of Hot End department, currently I have to supervise all the above duties. And in my previous departments,I have developed myself to accept responsibilities of Filling Supervisor in shipping department in which loading takes place as per the requirement and the priorities of the sales department. And, I have worked as a Filling Supervisor in warehouse who is responsible for packaging on line production and storing in warehouse as per the company practices.

    Education:
    High School.
    Two years in King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals.

    Skills:
    *Good oral and written communications and inter personal skills, a quick learner and easy to get along with. Excellent organizational skills with high degree of initiative, flexibility and openness to new ideas.
    *Performs effectively, independently and efficiently under pressure. Experienced in working in rotating shifts and in a multicultural working environment.
