ERS has a Client who is actively seeking a Technical Team Supervisor to develop and lead a technical team delivering planned and breakdown repair maintenance and selected modifications in accordance with agreed schedules.

Job Responsibilities

Manage team and staff development and performance to achieve the required standard and undertake periodic reviews to demonstrate this.

Ensure maintenance is supervised, planned, resourced (people, parts, procedures) and implemented efficiently and effectively in accordance with the maintenance plan.

Ensure maintenance performance is monitored, reported, analysed and corrective action implemented as necessary.

Advise the Facility Engineering Manager on a variety of complex and novel matters of technical judgement affecting the above areas.

Undertake and lead technical investigations to identify root cause of plant failures or performance trends.

Ensuring that the Workshops / sites where work has taken place are left in an acceptable house keeping state and that all surplus parts are returned to the appropriate storage area and identified as to their status.

Comply with Facility configuration policy and maintain the configuration baseline.

May become Authorised Person (Electrical) AP(E) on call during out of hours.

Provision of effective and efficient work supervision for a range of tasks, ensuring that safe systems of work are fit for purpose.

Manage and develop technical team in accordance with the organisation development plan.

Delivery of maintenance to schedule.

To ensure that responsibilities are understood and applied with regard to the Company’s Human resources, Maintenance, Environment, Health, Safety, Security and Quality Standards with respect to:

Work Supervision; Risk Assessor; Manual Handling Assessor; Duly Authorised Person and Senior Authorised Person (Electrical) High and Low Voltage Systems.

Keep up to date with developments in field of expertise.

To ensure that the team work and performance quality meets as a minimum that required by the Company Maintenance Manual and Facility requirements.

To ensure that the team continuously improves the way it functions and interacts with other work groups and management systems.

To have prime responsibility for health and safety of the team
