Operations Manager, (Commercial), Engineering, Business Development
ERS have a Client who is seeking an Operations Manager following the move of an Operations Manager to support the Defence Business, the Nuclear Clean Up Business focusing on Birchwood Based Engineering support and our support to the TSIF partnership.
Competitive salary depending on qualifications and experience
Reporting to the Business Unit Director, the Operations Manager will be accountable for the P&L associated with a turnover in excess of £10M and be responsible for up to 70 staff.
Key result areas will be include:
Ensuring that financial and non-financial targets are met.
Maintaining and developing the relationships with the client.
Pro-actively marketing the services of the Company and winning work.
Developing the strategy for the Engineering team as the Company grows and increasingly bids for Major Projects.
Supporting other Ops Units as the Company develops Engineering support to more clients.
Ensuring projects are managed to meet or exceed profit targets and to meet client expectations.
Ensuring staff receive appropriate training and development to ensure business needs are met and that individuals meet their personal aspirations wherever possible.
Developing excellent team working relationships with the existing managers.
