Our client is seeking 3 Decommissioning Engineers to be responsible for the generation of decommissioning strategy documents, development of decommissioning option studies, optimising decontamination methodologies, identification of appropriate waste streams, ownership or support to the technical delivery of the tenders and projects undertaken by the team. Note projects can be desktop studies or hands on so a degree of flexibility is required.

Dependent upon the grade:
Provide/take professional and technical direction for/from others in the team.
Assist in managing multi-discipline interfaces.
Oversee/support the work of the team, assuring the quality of work produced.
Ensure the team maintain secure, traceable records, until archiving.
Record and communicate quality deficiencies. Become familiar with procedures that impact on the teams work.
Ensure the technical output meets the specified requirements.
Implement Quality Procedures relevant to their work and identify/implement improvements to the procedures.
Review and comment on contractors submissions.
Produce, check, verify and approve engineering documents in line with the technical and quality plan.
Specify decommissioning requirements.
Estimating and planning.
Ensure all technical documents and data are prepared and structured in accordance with relevant procedures.
Prepare and issue change control documents in line with the contractual requirements.
Execution and reporting of work in accordance with the Technical Plan.
Ensuring adequate interfacing between other technical disciplines.
Understanding of project objectives and delivery process.
Understanding of other technical disciplines involved in the project.
Working within the necessary commercial constraints (budget, programme, scope).
