Safety Case Manager, Business Services
Development and management of Safety Cases within the Explosives Business Unit (XBU). The role also requires support to Hazop and Fire Risk Assessments activities, production of safety documentation and ensuring company and regulative procedures and standards requirements are adequately accounted for.

Management and support of existing and future Explosives Business Area Safety Cases on behalf of the Explosives Sites Manager.
Ensure all Safety Case arrangements are, and remain, compliant with the appropriate standards and policies to quality, time and cost.
Ensure that all company and regulatory statutory requirements are met and maintained.
Liaise with internal and external AWE regulators on issues relating to safety cases.
Take lead in Safety Case projects.
Ensure Facility Safety Cases are reviewed and maintained in a timely manner.
Develop, implement and maintain a consistent Explosives Business Unit (XBU) Safety Case capable of delivering required outputs.
Ensure the Safety Case satisfies XBU, Manufacturing Division and key stakeholder interests.
Support Operational Area Teams in the development of safety process documentation and validation and verification of those arrangements.
Develop and implement performance metrics to facilitate local area and divisional management decision processes.
Support facility Hazop activities as required.
Carry out Fire Risk Assessments within the facility.
Provide guidance and advice to facilities and projects associated with the Explosives Business Unit on all Safety Case matters.
Provide information, support and advice on Case for Continued Operation (CfCO) activities.
Undertake Emergency response role as required.
Participate in accident and incident investigations if required.
