ERS have a client seeking a Logistics manager required to oversee the construction of a Nuclear Power Plant in China
Logistics Manager Duties/ Responsibilities:
• Hands on position responsible for managing and oversight of Logistic activities associated with a next-generation Nuclear Power Plant in China.
• Acts as an expert in the review and analysis of specialized Logistics issues.
• Evaluates options and recommends actions. Required Qualifications and Skills: • B.S. Degree required. • Minimum 10 years experience managing logistics efforts on large Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contracts.
• Able to provide direction in any of the following areas: Freight Forwarding Requirements and Contract Implementation. Selection of Marshaling and Consolidation Points. Shipment Planning and Consolidation Opportunities.
¾ Rate Negotiation. ¾ Ocean Freight Carrier Selection. ¾ Customs Clearance. ¾ Inland Freight to Delivery at Site. ¾ Communication and Reporting. ¾ Project Closeout.
Demonstrated ability to lead, supervise, and develop staff through coaching, and guidance. • Fluent in written and spoken English. Physical Location: Shanghai, China Salary: Negotiable
